Anntonette D. McEwen
Hey, hey, hey! Welcome, my name is Ann. I’m a life coach and grief coach. This is my story.
I’ve been drawn to taking initiative and having responsibility since early childhood, as my siblings can attest. I remember playing school together and I always played the role of the teacher. I enjoyed keeping my siblings accountable! Even at an early age, the Lord had instilled in me the gifts of leadership and encouragement. Alongside my practice to become a leader were the prayers of those closest to me, like my great grandmother, Mama Caesar. I believe the manifestation of prayer has made a significant impact on my life.
Trace your faith, remember where you came from.
My journey in mentorship began in 2018 when a friend invited me to a life-coaching class. I learned so much about serving others. It was empowering. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see the program to completion yet. My husband had just been diagnosed with cancer and everything was put on hold. These obstacles were temporary, though, and God remained faithful. A year passed and I had another opportunity to attend the life-coaching seminar. The following year, I celebrated my husband’s full recovery and earned my life-coaching certificate. Praise God! Throughout that experience, I learned the importance of transparency. That’s what people want; for you to be real with them. We all need to be heard and understood.
This is where I’m supposed to be. God brought me here, He navigated me.
As of 2023, I have also been certified as a grief coach. I coach students at Blue Ridge Community College in Virginia and other women in my community. I help identify effective ways to expand women’s unique skills and I encourage them as they navigate difficult circumstances. I’m a wife, a mother of two adults and an active member in my local church. It is my passion to minister to others and to glorify God. I hope you find encouragement on this site and learn how all aspects of your life can and should glorify our God. I’m grateful for my journey and I’m honored to be apart of yours as well, sister!

The Mission of CoacHerForGlory
With knowledge comes confidence.
We all need support no matter how successful we become. Consulting a life coach includes gathering insight, asking probing questions, seeking God’s guidance, listening and working to improve the different aspects of your life.
My approach:
When you have a decision to make, big or small, it’s wise to seek counsel. It’s okay to admit I don’t know what I don’t know. My goal is to help identify solutions specific to your situation. I will share my insight and support. Although we may be physically apart, we have this site to connect us and God to guide us. May we share this passage of life for His glory.
